Art of Film & Video Screenings

Every Thursday (during the Spring 2014 semester), Joe Kluge and his two Art of Film & Video classes screen different movies in Blodgett Hall room 108. Food and refreshments are always served at the screenings and EVERYONE is welcomed!

The Art of Film & Video is a Communications course that explores the major impact of twentieth-century art movements in opening up the range of creative possibilities and perspectives in the making of film and video. The course aims to encourage familiarity with, sensitivity to, and understanding of innovative uses of form, content, techniques, and ideas since the beginnings of cinema.

Look out for different posters every week in the first floor hallway of Blodgett Hall to see which movie will be screened.  This week, the class will be screening Bruno Bozzetto's piece, "Allegro non Troppo." This movie can only be described as a cross between "Fantasia" and "Yellow Submarine" with a touch of Fellini.

Hope to see everyone there!
